Dutch architecture firm UNStudio is working with Projekt Polsko-Belgijska Pracownia Architektury to build a 174-m-tall skyscraper, World Architecture News reported on April 7. Located next to the former headquarters of the Bellona publishing house, the new tower will be connected by a common lobby, in a design uncommon on the Polish market. The 40-story, 47,000-m2 office tower will provide 280 parking spaces and bicycle and shower facilities. There will be chargers for electric cars and a special parking lot for electric two-wheelers with a place to charge them. The building will be Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method and WELL certified with a “no-barriers” designation. The project will include a café, a restaurant and a terrace. Completion is expected in late 2024.
