Otis unveiled a suite of new products to support urban renewal and accessibility at the eighth China International Import Expo (CIIE) in Shanghai in November. The solutions, Otis states, underscore the company's commitment to addressing global trends including urbanization, an aging population and sustainable development through cutting-edge technology. "China remains one of our most dynamic and promising markets, with expanding opportunities in service and refurbishment," Otis President and CEO Judy Marks said. "We are accelerating innovation — including the adoption of AI — to ensure Otis remains at the forefront of our industry."
Sally Loh, president of Otis Greater China, said the company is committed to helping enhance quality of life and building a safe and sustainable, accessible future as populations age in China and around the world. From modernization solutions to AI-powered safety products, "Otis is 'Driving Impact Through Innovation,' integrating technology and user care into every detail of mobility," she said. The new products and service debuted at CIIE include:
