His conference-opening presentation will be "Building a Movement to Regenerate and Prosper,” which will provide keen insights into educating, organizing and persevering in the name of planetary preservation. In Simonen's afternoon keynote "Climate Smart Building—A Call to Action," she'll share a vision for a future when we store more carbon in long-life buildings and infrastructure than is emitted over their life cycle. In tandem with the launch of three regional “Hubs” across the CTBUH Network — CTBUH Americas, CTBUH Europe and CTBUH Asia — this event represents the official launch of CTBUH Americas and will bring together leaders and CTBUH members in the region for a full day of conference sessions and a networking reception on May 11, followed by offsite tours and a leaders lunch/meeting on May 12.
