By 2023, Jackson is aiming for its first carbon-neutral office building — to be achieved by deploying solar photovoltaic (PV) cells, battery storage and air-source heat pumps. Additionally, the company has set a goal to convert its entire vehicle fleet to carbon-neutral by 2028 by ordering only electric commercial vehicles beyond 2024. Jackson has also focused on product sustainability, meaning installing lifts and escalators equipped with energy-efficient options. Regenerative drives, which harness a descending lift car's gravitational force to generate power, are a core feature of Jackson’s lifts, and the company has made a commitment to energy-saving lighting in all lift installations. The company is also recycling all old workwear and exploring carbon-neutral alternatives.
