KONE has won an order to provide a suite of transportation solutions for the modernization of King Fahd International Airport (KFIA) in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, also known as Dammam International Airport. Managed and operated by Dammam Airports Co. (DACO), the airport handles approximately 11.4 million passengers per year. KFIA saw a record 16.2% annual increase in passenger traffic in 2023, in line with the Saudi National Aviation Strategy's plan to achieve 330 million passengers by 2030.
