كشف وزير الدولة للسكك الحديدية وجال شاكتي في سومانا مؤخرًا عن سلالم متحركة جديدة في محطتي السكك الحديدية KSR Bengaluru وKengeri، هانز الهند reports. Two new escalators, one for upward movement and one for downward movement, have been installed at Platform 1 of KSR Bengaluru Station, which will connect all 10 of the stations' platforms. One escalator has been installed at Platform 1 at Kengeri Railway Station, connecting platforms one to four through a foot overbridge. The inauguration event at Kengeri Railway Station also had Minister of State for the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) and Labour and Employment Shobha Karandlaje in attendance. At the event, V Somanna said the escalators "will largely benefit passengers, particularly the elderly and differently abled.”
