The Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Development Corp. (GH) has signed a “Business Agreement for Elevator Safety and Quality Improvement in GH Apartment Complexes” with the Korea Elevator Safety Agency at GH headquarters in Suwon, El diario Asia Business Daily reports. Under this agreement, the two organizations will work together to align and upgrade standards such as technology and guidelines for improving elevator safety and quality; review safety at each stage of elevator design, construction and maintenance; and cooperate in building an elevator safety management platform.
