Special attention was paid to initiatives involving creating a specialized training center, organizing a local assembly for elevator control panels, implementing a "Train the Trainer" program and launching internship and specialist certification programs between the two countries. Uzbekistan is facing a growing demand for elevator equipment: In 2025, 3,009 elevators were supplied to the market while the requirement for new high-rise residential construction exceeds 5,000 units per year, and the gap could potentially widen in future years. Following the meeting, two memoranda were signed: one between the Agency and Korea Elevator University and another between the Agency and the Korea Elevator Safety Foundation. The agreements are set for a term of three years and are aimed at establishing an institutional foundation for expanding local production, training personnel and accelerating the technological development of the industry in Uzbekistan.
