(NCRTC) has issued a tender for construction of the skywalk, which is expected to be complete approximately 15 months after the contract is awarded. Anand Vihar has two ISBTs, two Delhi Metro corridors, a railway station and a Namo Bharat transit station. "Passenger volumes across metro, railway, bus and Namo Bharat services have grown over the years, increasing pressure on existing pedestrian links, particularly during peak hours," an NCRTC official said. "The skywalk is planned as an additional corridor to support rising demand and improve circulation across the area."
