La tour Al Habtoor de Dubaï est désormais achevée à plus de 30 %

L'un des derniers ajouts à l'horizon de Dubaï, la tour Al Habtoor de 32 étages et 358 m de haut sur Sheikh Zayed Road près du canal d'eau de Dubaï, a franchi une étape clé avec plus de 30 % d'achèvement, Mécanique Électricité Plomberie Moyen-Orient reports. Boasting a high-speed vertical-transportation (VT) system with 24 elevators traveling at 7 m/s, the luxury residential tower by Al Habtoor Group is slated to become the world's largest residential building. The project has thus far accumulated more than 2.5 million working hours and implemented the latest construction technology, such as utilization of 100-m-deep barrette foundations. The tower is expected to achieve LEED Platinum certification and "set new standards for urban development." Among companies involved in its VT system are Nidec Elevator Middle East and North Africa, which announced the completion of its project involving three elevators at Al Habtoor Tower in June.
