LT Elevator Begins Construction on Manufacturing Facility

Kolkata, India-based LT Elevator, an elevator and automated parking systems manufacturer, has begun construction of an integrated manufacturing facility in West Bengal, Secteur Industriel & Fabrication reports. This facility is expected to increase the company’s manufacturing capacity by 2.5 times when completed in the fourth quarter of Fiscal Year 2027. The facility will bring manufacturing, sourcing and execution together to reduce lead times and improve cost efficiency while also strengthening LT Elevator’s ability to execute large institutional and government projects. It is expected the facility will be able to manufacture approximately 2,500 elevator units and 8,000 automated parking spaces annually.
