Schindler announced on September 25 it signed a Master Services and Supplies Agreement (MSSA) with Accor, a world-leading hospitality group with more than 5,600 hotel properties in 110 countries. The MSSA — which entails Schindler supplying and maintaining elevators, escalators and moving walks — covers nine strategic markets in Asia: Cambodia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Macau, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. It encompasses all of Schindler's offerings — new installation, modernization, maintenance and service. Accor currently operates more than 500 hotels under 20 brands — including Fairmont, Ibis, Pullman and Raffles — across Asia. Jardine Schindler Group CEO Calynn Tan said the MSSA provides a solid foundation for its collaboration with Accor in the region.
