MHEC is a group purchasing cooperative with 2,700 members throughout New England, including higher-education institutions, municipalities, K-12 schools, libraries and other educational nonprofits that can access MHEC's publicly bid contracts. Under the agreement, MHEC members will receive discounted subscription rates for VTPro, developed by Boston-based DFC for managing, inspecting and assessing elevators, escalators and other people-moving systems.
