Although attendance for the 48th Annual Pop/Joe Memorial Golf Outing honoring "Pop" Frohlinger and Joe Marchese was a sell out on paper, the golf portion of the event was canceled on September 25 due to the remnants of Tropical Storm Ophelia, which made landfall in North Carolina on September 23 and caused heavy rain in New York through the 25th. Regardless, many attended the dinner portion of the event at the Brookville Country Club in Old Brookville, NY.
