NAESA International announced it has hired Amanda Brumbaugh as assistant education director to help Education Director Dave Newmoyer with the association’s educational needs. Brumbaugh has more than 20 years of dedicated service to the State of Idaho. She has built a career centered on public safety and regulatory compliance where she developed expertise in interpreting code, rules and regulations while training and mentoring inspection staff as the chief elevator inspector. She is a QEI and certified commercial and residential building inspector with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, along with numerous professional certifications. She currently serves on several ASME Code committees, where she contributes to the ongoing development and advancement of industry standards. Brumbaugh is also a U.S. Navy veteran, continuing a family tradition of military service that spans five generations.
