KIOXIA celebrated the first anniversary of its rebranding with the help of the world's tallest building. In 2021, the Minato, Japan-based leader in memory solutions showcased its products in a brilliant show on the façade of the Burj Khalifa, an 828-m-tall skyscraper located in Dubai, to celebrate the company's brand launch in the Middle East and Africa. Some of the products included the company's solid-state drives (SSDs) and secure-digital (SD) cards and more.

The 160-story building that is the Burj Khalifa houses a hotel, offices and residences. It also features 57 elevators and eight escalators, with certain elevators programmed to permit controlled evacuation in the case of a fire or security breach. The building holds the tallest service elevator in the world, sitting at 504 m, nearly one and a half times that of the Empire State Building in NYC, which stands only 381 m. The building's observatory elevators are the world's fastest double-deck cabs at 10 m/s, with a capacity of 12-14 people each.
