KONE announced on July 29 it will equip 75 London Wall, a major office redevelopment project in the City of London, with 23 MonoSpace^® 700 DX elevators. To support building operation and efficient people flow for approximately 4,000 daily users, the lift system will also utilize KONE Office Flow, E-Link monitoring and connected services such as KONE 24/7 Connect. The former office building, known historically as Winchester House, stretches roughly 140 m in length along the London Wall — the historic route of the ancient Roman city wall. A comprehensive refurbishment set to begin in August will add four new stories. Designed by ORMS Architecture Design and developed by Gamuda Land UK Ltd. and Castleforge, the redeveloped building will yield approximately 41,800 m² of office space across 13 floors and aim for the highest sustainability standards.
