OnCore Motor Group, the California-headquartered parent company of Reuland Electric Motor Co., has acquired Motor Appliance Corp. (MAC), based in Washington, Missouri, Reuland announced on July 21. The acquisition unites two American manufacturers with complementary custom motor, power electronics and vertically integrated product capabilities. Founded in 1937, Reuland has built its 89-year reputation by engineering and manufacturing durable electric motors for demanding applications including elevators, cranes, movable bridges, marine and shipboard equipment. MAC was incorporated in 1946 and has spent the past 80 years developing specialized motor and charging solutions for customers in transportation maintenance, material handling, pumps, HVAC, medical equipment, military applications, recreation and construction. MAC will continue operating from its Missouri base with added resources to support customers, employees, product lines and future investment.
