TK Elevator (TKE) announced on February 5 it expanded its new installation and Universal Service partnership with Hong Kong International Airport (HKG) with a renewed maintenance contract that covers more than 300 TKE and third-party pieces of vertical-transportation (VT) equipment over four years. Emphasizing TKE's ability to provide OEM-level services and support for a broad range of elevators, escalators and moving walks, the deal brings the total number of mobility units under TKE maintenance at HKG to 358. It involves providing maintenance for 282 TKE and third-party elevators, escalators and moving walks serving passengers in Terminal 1, as well as more than 70 third-party units in Terminal 2 (T2). This marks TKE's third four-year contract renewal with HKG. As part of HKG's ongoing expansion of T2, an additional 96 TKE elevators are currently being installed, along with 78 more units added to the T2 concourse.
