The 2024 edition of the Elevator Sector Report has been published by the General Directorate of Industry of the Ministry of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Türkiye. The report states that when the global elevator industry's data for 2024 was examined, it reached a volume of US$24.5 billion, with approximately US$12 billion in exports and US$12.5 billion in imports. "Türkiye ranks ninth in exports with US$334 million, accounting for 2.7% of global exports. As of 2024, it is seen that 2,068 companies registered in the Industrial Registry Information System operating in the sector, (providing) employment to 36,058 people."
