One of the products that attracted the attention of visitors at the Elevex 2026 Fair was the Elips Elevator. Ali İmamoğlu, Onaylift’s Plant Manager, whom we consulted for information about the product, said the following: “Our product is an elliptical elevator. It’s a system we developed for projects requiring special solutions, such as those with narrow shafts. The reason our product is elliptical is that, as is well known, some elevator shafts in our country and abroad do not meet the standard required dimensions. In such cases, special solutions must be produced. In fact, when shaft dimensions are insufficient, installing an elevator outside the building becomes unavoidable. For this reason, we have created a unique design: a dual-counterweight system operating in a 1:1 suspension configuration. The doors and counterweights are oval-shaped and manufactured in-house. It is a product suitable for narrow spaces yet both elegant and stylish. The doors and cabin are entirely manufactured in-house, while the other components consist of products from well-known brands in the industry.”

Onaylift Chairman of the Board of Directors Mehmet İmamoğlu also, while sharing the technical details of the project, highlighted its unique geometry and high-performance criteria. Noting that they have set a new industry standard with a central automatic door mechanism suited to the oval shaft structure and a dual-entry cabin design, İmamoğlu stated that the system has a speed capacity of 1 m/s and offers a smooth ride thanks to its optimized load balance.
