Spain-headquartered MP Lifts in March announced the acquisition of Bucharest-based Koppel Romania Ascensoare, a lift maintenance, modernization and repair company that will be integrated into the Romanian branch of MP Lifts, MP IFMA. The move strengthens MP IFMA's presence in the Romanian market and increases the density of its lift maintenance portfolio in Bucharest — the company's main operational hub in Romania — by adding approximately 300 elevators. In addition to its Bucharest headquarters, MP IFMA has offices in Oradea, Timișoara, Târgu Mureș, Târgu Jiu, Brașov, Roman, Iași, Brăila and Constanța, through which it services the entire country. Operating in more than 100 countries globally, MP Lifts has become one of Europe's leading operators in the lift sector.
