عقدت منظمة TASFED اجتماعاً في بورصة حول سلامة المنتجات ولوائح PGD

The Turkish Elevator Manufacturers Federation (TASFED) held a meeting titled “Product Safety, PGD Regulations and Field Implications in the Elevator Sector” on May 14 at the Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The meeting was attended by representatives from the General Directorate of Industry under the Ministry of Industry and Technology and the Turkish Standards Institute (TSE), as well as members of the TASFED Board of Directors and representatives from companies in the sector. Alpaslan Şenocak, a member of the Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry Board of Directors, delivered the opening remarks and expressed his hopes for a successful meeting. TASFED Director Gülay Pala Binboğa then took the podium and gave a presentation on the federation’s history, founding purpose and activities. TASİAD Board of Directors Vice Chairman Zafer Demirkol also delivered a presentation sharing his views on problems encountered in the field and proposed solutions. Following that, Ahmet Boz, Chief Inspector of the Turkish Standards Institute (TSE), discussed the work related to inspections and PGD activities. Finally, Mehmet Şahin, an Industry and Technology Specialist, shared information and data regarding inspections of elevator product groups and elevator safety equipment. The meeting concluded with a question-and-answer session.

Following the presentations, the Q&A session was moderated by TASFED President Cem Bozdağ. Among the session’s guests were Mehmet Şahin, an industry and technology expert; Esra Kaybal and Department Director Abdurrahim Deniz Doğan from the General Directorate of Metrology and Industrial Products; Mehmet Gürel, an industry and technology expert; and Ahmet Boz, Chief Inspector at TSE.
