Following ELEVEX 2026, Özhan Şerefli, Chairman of the Board of Directors at Vizyon Sectoral Exhibition Services, noted that the event had been strongly embraced by the sector and stated:

"We are delighted to bring our sector back together in Konya after two years. Together with our participants, visitors, sector representatives and all our stakeholders, we have successfully organized an exceptionally successful event. ELEVEX 2026 surpassed the 2024 event in terms of both the number of participating companies and the number of visitors. Additionally, by increasing the number of participating countries from 45 to 61, we significantly expanded the international reach of our fair. These results demonstrate that ELEVEX has been embraced by the industry and continues to grow stronger with each event."

Şerefli emphasized that ELEVEX is not merely a trade fair but has become a vital platform for showcasing the Turkish elevator industry’s production capacity, export potential and technological advancements to the world, noting that these achievements provide strong motivation for the 2028 event.

219 companies, eight countries, and all sector stakeholders gathered under one roof

The ELEVEX 2026 Konya Elevator and Technology Fair hosted one of the sector’s most comprehensive gatherings by bringing together manufacturers, suppliers, and technology developers in the elevator and VT industry. The event featured a total of 219 participating companies, with 20 foreign firms from eight different countries showcasing their products and technologies to visitors.

Participants from Türkiye, as well as China, Russia, the U.S., Italy, Germany, India, South Korea and Liechtenstein, were key elements in reinforcing ELEVEX’s international character. Throughout the fair, both domestic and international companies showcased the latest advancements in elevator technology, next-generation safety systems, control solutions, escalator technology, energy-efficient applications and products focused on digital transformation.

Covering the entire spectrum of the industry — from machinery and motor systems to control technologies, from cabin and door systems to rails and accessories, and from escalator solutions to smart building integrations — the fair offered visitors the opportunity to see the current state of VT technologies all under one roof.

One of the standout features of ELEVEX 2026 was its focus not only on traditional product groups but also on technologies shaping the industry’s future. Internet of Things and remote monitoring systems, AI-powered solutions, energy recovery technologies, next-generation safety equipment and digital control systems were among the areas that drew significant attention at the fair.

Product launches, live demonstrations and technology showcases conducted by participating companies drew significant attention from visitors throughout the event, once again highlighting that ELEVEX is not merely a trade platform but also an international technology showcase for the industry’s innovations.

ELEVEX 2026 reached new markets: Visitors from 61 countries demonstrated the fair’s global reach

ELEVEX – Konya Elevator and Technology Fair, which has become one of the international meeting points for the elevator and VT technology sector, achieved a remarkable success in 2026 not only in terms of visitor numbers but also in the diversity of countries it reached. Having hosted visitors from 45 countries in 2024, the event expanded its international reach significantly in 2026 by increasing this number to 61 countries.

With a total of 27,591 visitors, the fair included 3,258 international attendees. While the concentration of international visitors showed a more balanced distribution across certain countries, the increase in the number of countries represented demonstrated a significant milestone in ELEVEX’s goal of reaching new markets.

Iraq, one of the Turkish elevator industry’s most important export markets, continued to attract attention with its strong interest in ELEVEX. In particular, representatives from construction firms, investors, project developers and elevator companies were heavily represented at the fair. Following Iraq were Nigeria, Algeria, Russia and Albania, while Libya, Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia and Ukraine were among the top countries on the list.

Africa Emerged as the Rising Region at ELEVEX 2026

One of the most striking results of the 2026 data was the increase in the number of visitors from African countries. When examining visitor numbers from the continent, Nigeria leads the way. Among the African countries visiting ELEVEX for the first time in 2026 were Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, Ghana, Guinea, Kenya, Liberia and Tanzania. This increase in African countries, particularly alongside Nigeria, indicates that the Sub-Saharan African market is becoming increasingly strategic for the Turkish elevator sector. In recent years, as investments in residential, infrastructure and commercial construction have accelerated in African countries, the presence of Turkish manufacturers has grown.

An analysis of ELEVEX 2026’s international visitor data reveals that the fair has undergone a significant transformation in the Balkan and Eastern European markets over the past two years. The inclusion of countries such as Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Belarus and Croatia — in addition to Russia, Albania, Ukraine and Romania — in the fair’s visitor profile underscores the expansion of its regional reach.

The international visitor data for ELEVEX 2026 reveals that the fair has not only maintained its traditional markets but has also expanded its influence into Asia and the Gulf Region. In particular, the Middle East, Gulf countries, Central Asian republics and South Asian markets — which have emerged as key export destinations for the Turkish elevator sector in recent years — continue to hold a significant place in ELEVEX’s international visitor profile. From European countries, Germany, along with Romania, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia and Croatia, as well as France, Italy, Belarus, Switzerland and Croatia, have become more prominently featured on the visitor map, while the U.K., the Netherlands and Spain were also among the countries represented at the fair.
