Tonino Lamborghini has made its first foray into vertical mobility with Hybon Elevators, unveiling MOVIMENTO, a four‑cabin lifestyle elevator collection debuted June 27 in Gurugram and engineered for India. Rooted in 45 years of Italian craftsmanship and Hybon's 7,000-plus installations, the SOMMO, MARTE, DINAMICO and IMPERO cabins treat lifts as interior spaces with deep finishes, metallic accents and hand‑finished textures. Performance features include 1.75 m/s speed, 3,000 mm cabin height, 2,700 mm doorways, 3D door sensing, uninterrupted rescue, 39-inch touchscreen, biometric and password access, climate control and signature fragrance. Backed by a 15-year warranty, 24/7 service and a companion app, the collection repositions elevators as curated lifestyle elements made in India for the world.

Elevators are no longer just transportation systems; they are becoming architecture. This is especially true as Tonino Lamborghini makes its global debut in vertical mobility in partnership with Hybon Elevators, introducing four cabin designs built on Italian design DNA and engineered for the Indian market.
Luxury homes today are defined less by scale than by experience in every element, from lighting to wellness spaces, curated for individuality and craftsmanship. Elevators are catching up to that shift, moving from functional infrastructure to architectural features in their own right.
Hybon Elevators, a Delhi-based company with more than 7,000 installations across India, has partnered with Tonino Lamborghini, the Italian luxury design and lifestyle house, to introduce India’s first lifestyle elevator collection. The partnership was unveiled as MOVIMENTO The New Rise on June 27 in Gurugram. This marks Tonino Lamborghini’s first-ever entry into vertical mobility anywhere in the world, and it has chosen to make that debut in India.
Tonino Lamborghini’s design philosophy is built on more than 45 years of Italian craftsmanship, diversity and an uncompromising attention to detail — a heritage the house traces to its founder and its headquarters at the historic Palazzo del Vignola in Bologna. Today a global luxury lifestyle and design house spanning accessories, hospitality and real estate, that legacy of Italian mastery has, for the first time anywhere in the world, been translated into an elevator cabin, and it is India that has been chosen for its debut. Ratan Singh Sehgal, managing director, Hybon Elevators & Escalators, said:
“This collaboration was inevitable, born from a deep, mutual respect for craftsmanship, where Italian mastery meets Indian resolve. This is not a new product. It is a new chapter.”
That philosophy takes shape across four cabins, each with a distinct character, treating the elevator not as an enclosure but as an interior space worthy of a living room or private lounge.

1) SOMMO — The Apex of Italian Grace
Soft champagne metallics, vertical brass detailing and Spanish grey marble create an environment defined by restraint rather than excess.
2) MARTE — The Power of the Linear
Dark wood veneer, warm brass and red ambient light are precise, restrained and quietly commanding.
3) DINAMICO — The Energy of Motion
Carbon-inspired surfaces, black tinted mirror and honeycomb flooring shadow impart brilliance and structural confidence in motion.
4) IMPERO — The Art of Command

The engineering matches the ambition, always in service of the experience it was built to elevate. Cabins run at up to 1.75 m/s across six stops, 75% faster than the industry standard. 3D-door sensing detects a passenger a foot away rather than only at the door line, and an uninterrupted rescue device keeps the cabin moving through a power failure instead of halting it. Cabins stand taller than standard at 3,000 mm high with 2,700-mm doorways and feature a 39-in. LED touchscreen, biometric and password access, climate control and a signature ambient fragrance detail that belong to a private lounge as much as to a lift. The collection carries a 15-year warranty with round-the-clock service — a first for the Indian elevator industry backed by a companion app for remote monitoring and control, and a service platform that auto-generates tickets and tracks technician arrival in real time. For architects, the cabin becomes part of a project’s material palette rather than a technical afterthought. “We no longer specify an elevator as a mechanical necessity; we specify it as the house’s first impression, for how it feels and how it completes a space,” said Ar. Sumit Dhawan, principal architect, Cityspace’ 82 Architects. For developers and premium homeowners, it reflects a broader shift: As India’s luxury housing market matures, elevators are becoming lifestyle elements that reinforce a property’s identity, not just move people through it.
Hybon Tonino Lamborghini in India is not simply a product launch; it is the opening chapter of Tonino Lamborghini’s first move into an entirely new category, made in India for the world. It brings together two crafts: more than 45 years of Italian design excellence and Hybon’s engineering expertise, built across 7,000-plus installations nationwide. As the country’s luxury housing sector matures, that combination of Italian heritage and Indian engineering is set to define what premium vertical mobility looks like next.
