After the success of the first edition of the International Exhibition for Lifts, Components and Vertical-Transportation (VT) Technologies: LiftExpo Poland, the second edition of this specialized event is coming. On October 20-22, once again in the heart of the Polish capital, the industry will meet to continue the discussion about the future of VT, technological innovations, safety standards and market challenges.

This event is designed for manufacturers and suppliers of lifts, components and systems, as well as designers, engineers, developers, property managers and everyone professionally involved in building infrastructure and modern vertical mobility. What awaits exhibitors and visitors in October?

The First Edition in Numbers

The first edition of the exhibition confirmed that Poland needed a place dedicated to the entire lift industry ecosystem. LiftExpo Poland 2024 hosted 50 exhibitors from nine countries, with 45% of companies representing foreign markets, including Italy, Spain, Germany, Switzerland, Türkiye, Czechia, Ukraine and South Korea.

The exhibition attracted more than 1,000 participants from various professional and industry backgrounds, showing a real need for such a platform for knowledge and business exchange. Among the visitors were manufacturers and distributors of lifts and components, maintenance and modernization specialists, property owners and managers, as well as representatives of construction companies and architects.

The event formula undoubtedly fostered the presentation of offerings and substantive technical and business consultations. Direct contact allows faster verification of needs, discussion of solution details and the building of relationships that no remote communication can replace.

Conferences and Accompanying Events

The educational program was solid and diverse, as 20 lectures and presentations were held during the three-day event, delivered by 26 experts — more than 10 h of substantive content in total. This demonstrated how important knowledge exchange, market insights and discussion of technical and regulatory challenges are to the industry.

The upcoming 2026 edition will also feature numerous discussion panels and presentations prepared by experts and practitioners from the lift sector, who will share their observations and talk about current trends.

In 2024, there were also elements engaging participants in practical experiences. The Accessibility Island allowed attendees to see the world through the eyes of people with disabilities, and the Lift for Knowledge game engaged technical students, promoting the industry among future specialists.

Why Is Participation in the Exhibition Particularly Important Today?

The lift industry, especially now, in the face of rapidly changing regulations, increasing user requirements and cost pressure, needs uptodate knowledge and proven solutions. Attendance at industry exhibitions allows for a broad presentation of products and services and provides a full overview of the market — from complete devices to components, as well as digital and system solutions.

For exhibitors, this is an opportunity to strengthen brand recognition and demonstrate competencies in practice. An exhibition stand becomes a place for technology demonstrations, premieres and conversations with potential clients and partners. For visitors, it is an opportunity to compare solutions, discover innovations and engage directly with manufacturers and engineers responsible for new technologies.

An Overview of Solutions for Modern Buildings

The thematic scope of LiftExpo Poland covers the full spectrum of VT technologies. Passenger, goods and specialist lifts and home lifts and devices for people with disabilities will be presented. A significant part of the exhibition also includes components and parts, control systems, drives, safety elements, cabin and door equipment, as well as technologies supporting energy efficiency and sustainable development.

Equally important are design, modernization, service, training and consulting services that address the growing needs related to maintaining and upgrading existing installations.
