Stannah Lifts, headquartered in Andover, U.K., announced on March 3 it appointed two vertical-transportation (VT) professionals to support a new five-year lift maintenance contract with Network Rail. The contract includes, for the first time, maintaining escalators, marking a major expansion for Stannah. To help support this, Brendan Slevin has been named Network Rail department manager. He will work closely with Stannah’s London Infrastructure branch and branch managers across the U.K. to ensure smooth project delivery. Slevin joins Stannah with years of VT experience, including serving as a branch director for Schindler U.K. and Ireland. Alongside Slevin, Daniel Bond joins Stannah as London Infrastructure branch manager. With a specialist background in escalators, Bond previously managed escalator installations for Transport for London’s (TfL) Elizabeth Line, which includes the longest escalators in the TfL network.
