Otis India To Supply 65 Elevators for Patna Metro

Otis India announced on April 10 it won a contract to install 65 Gen2^® Nova elevators manufactured at its Bengaluru, India, factory for the Patna Metro project, the first in the state of Bihar. Otis will supply, install and maintain the units, which will also be equipped with accessibility features for people with reduced mobility. With a planned 26 stations and two lines covering approximately 30 km across the state capital, the Patna Metro is a key component of the Indian government’s high-priority infrastructure initiative.
