VDA Acquires Florida-Based Suncoast Elevator Inspections

VDA, Inc., a vertical-transportation consultancy based in East Hanover, New Jersey, on June 30 announced the acquisition of Suncoast Elevator Inspections, a Tampa Bay area, Florida-based company specializing in elevator inspection services across Florida. The acquisition follows VDA’s recent international expansion with the acquisition of U.K.-based D2E. Founded by the Tisdale family more than 20 years ago, Suncoast will continue to operate under its current name and maintain day-to-day functions as it benefits from the expanded capabilities of being part of VDA. Over time, Suncoast will gain access to VDA’s proprietary software and broader operational resources. Welcoming Suncoast to the team, VDA Senior Vice President of Inspection Theresa Tsamoutalis said Suncoast has built a solid reputation for delivering exceptional performance both in the office and in the field.
