TKE Names Vasa Chief People Officer

Vasa

TK Elevator (TKE) announced Sherry Vasa as its new Chief People Officer, effective August 14. Reporting to CEO Uday Yadav, Vasa will lead the global human resources (HR) and communications divisions. Vasa joins TKE from Marelli, a leading global automotive supplier with EUR8.2 billion (US$9.6 billion) in revenue and 45,000 employees. There, she has served as chief HR officer since 2021. Prior to Marelli, Vasa built an impressive more-than-20-year career at Autoliv where she held progressively senior HR roles and ultimately served as chief HR officer, role in which she played a key part in the spinoff and public listing of Autoliv’s Veoneer division. Yadav said Vasa joins TKE at “an important juncture in the company’s journey,” and that her “wealth of public and private company experience promises to further advance our focus on talent development, building teams, evolving our work culture and creating a best-in-class global people function.”
