Prysmian Welcomes New Distribution Warehouse in Canada

Prysmian announced on July 23 it opened a new 25,000-ft2 distribution warehouse just steps from its Prysmian Draka EHC escalator manufacturing plant in Oshawa, Canada. Richard Parvesse, senior vice president of Draka EHC, Prysmian’s elevator and escalator business unit, said the facility is a great addition to its Canadian footprint and gives employees an upgraded and modern workplace. It also enhances Prysmian’s service delivery, allowing it to streamline operations and extend its hours to better support customer needs, Parvesse said. The facility features a mezzanine and four shipping docks, with space reserved for a new office buildout, which is anticipated in late 2025. The warehouse is equipped with new racking, shelving and updated safety features that comply with current codes and regulations.
