Hissmekano Summer Fest
Getting there was the first highlight: traveling by Deutsche Bahn and on a self-built, emission-free e-bicycle — what an adventure! And a little preview of the motorcycle event your author participates in in August — this time, still emission-free, but with plenty of tailwind from our sector.
When industry colleagues and partners meet under sunny skies, enjoying great food and insightful conversations, the best ideas are born. That was exactly the spirit of this year’s Hissmekano GmbH Summer Fest in Niedernhausen, Germany. In a relaxed, open atmosphere, I had the chance to connect with fascinating people from the elevator industry and engage in many valuable discussions. I was particularly intrigued to learn that Hissmekano has started to expand its range of in-house products manufactured in Estonia.
Equally rewarding was my exchange with Neeb Aufzüge — my first encounter with the newly founded European Elevator Academy, a young initiative with ambitious goals for professional education and industry networking.
