HydraSafe Brake’s New Projects, Technologies
HydraSafe Brake Director of Sales and Marketing Patrick Moore recently shared with ELEVATOR WORLD updates from the company, including that it is researching cutting-edge process technologies and working on new projects. Its caliper is now receiving an Electro-Coat, or E-Coat, paint that provides a highly corrosive-resistant finish. “We continue to look for the latest technologies to keep our brake at the highest levels of quality and performance,” Moore said. Among projects HydraSafe Brake is tackling are the 60-story John Hancock Tower in Boston (33 cars), the 100-story John Hancock Center in Chicago (four cars) and several casinos in Nevada. Moore thanked HydaSafe’s new and existing partners, and shared that its brake will be certified from 1400 ft/min to 1800 ft/min once the company’s Chicago projects are completed.
