On June 10, the city of Pune witnessed a landmark event for the vertical-transportation (VT) industry: a seminar on “The role of gearless machines and guide rails in high performance elevators” held at Hotel Tip Top International in Wakad, Pune. The event was organized by Jupiter Group, Mumbai, a distributor in India for two global industry leaders: Savera Group (Spain) and Nidec Elevator (USA, formerly known as NIDEC-KDS).
With more than 100 attendees, including top elevator companies from Pune and surrounding regions, the event brought together field professionals, consultants and OEMs in a knowledge-driven setting to explore the technologies and best practices that drive the elevator industry forward.
