KONE, in collaboration with Smile Foundation, has launched the Smile on Wheels mobile clinic project in Delhi, India, to provide primary medical care to 90,000 individuals across 14 urban colonies and localities in the city, The CSR Universe reports. Equipped with a qualified MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) doctor, paramedical staff and basic diagnostic facilities, the mobile clinic offers free outpatient consultations and medicines, along with point-of-care services. The project also aims to improve accessibility to primary healthcare services and facilitate referrals to higher-level medical institutions when necessary. In the 2024–25 fiscal year, Smile Foundation reached two million beneficiaries through its healthcare programs, which include 93 mobile medical units, 10 mobile telemedicine units, four mobile dental units and four static clinics operating across 90 districts in 22 states of India.
