Developers are planning to break ground in 2022 on 3470 Wilshire Boulevard, a multitower, mixed-use project in Los Angeles, Los Angeles YIMBY reported on August 22. The site is made of eight connected lots and currently holds four office buildings with ground-floor retail, a three-story parking structure and a five-story parking deck on the site. The developer, Jamison Properties, plans to demolish the three-story parking structure and create 23- and 28-story mixed-use towers on top of a four-story podium that also has two levels of below-grade parking. The project will bring 641 residential units — 280 in the shorter building and 361 in the taller — with commercial space split between the towers. 3470 Wilshire Boulevard will be one of the largest projects by Jamison Properties. The design, by CallisonRTKL, will include both rooftop and podium-level amenities. It will have 69,000 ft2 of landscaping.
