Colley Elevator Pledges Support for Highland Park Victims

Bensenville, Illinois-based Colley Elevator Co. has pledged support for the victims of the mass shooting at the July 4th parade in Highland Park, Illinois. The company will use its Colley Cares philanthropic initiative tied to elevator modernization sales that typically supports five employee-chosen charities each fiscal quarter to support Highland Park shooting victims for the current quarter. From July-September, Colley Elevator will earmark US$100 from each modernization project for the Victims First GoFundMe for the parade shooting victims. Observing that the company is “deeply saddened” by the news of another mass shooting, Colley Managing Partner Craig Zomchek says the events “had a particularly devastating effect due to their proximity and the realization that one of our mechanics was in attendance.” Zomchek has matched employees’ personal contributions up to US$1,000 to verified Highland Park fundraisers.
