Otis announced on August 22 the opening of its new Southeast Asia training center for elevators and escalators in Bangkok. The center includes an area showcasing Otis Gen2® elevators, LinkTM escalators and components to provide hands-on training, as well as a classroom for face-to-face instruction. Programs include safety refresher courses, maintenance training and technical workshops. A particular focus, Otis Managing Director of Thailand Trakan Dankul said, will be the Otis Absolutes: Safety, Ethics and Quality. At the opening, Dankul was joined by Otis Managing Director of Southeast Asia Grant Mooney and other leaders and employees. Otis plans to incorporate a customer experience area in the future.
