CTBUH 2022 International Conference in Three Chinese Cities

In addition to the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat’s (CTBUH) full slate of speakers and activities at the “Tall Excellence: Seeking the Ideal in Vertical Urbanism” conference in Chicago on November 9-12, it is hosting complementary events in three Chinese cities: Shenzhen, Shanghai and Beijing. CTBUH’s first in-person conferences in China since 2020, the Shenzhen event is planned on October 26-27; Shanghai, November 2-3; and Beijing, November 10. Taking place in five venues, each day-long program will feature presentations centered around the “Tall Excellence” theme, followed by a guided tour of the host building. Industry leaders in an array of disciplines will participate in and lead “thought-provoking discussions about the most innovative ideas and promising technologies to advance the global agenda of sustainable vertical urbanism.” This year’s CTBUH award winners from China, including Best Tall Building, Urban Habitat and new Fellows, will also be recognized during the events.
