In Memoriam: Rob Richmond

Rob Richmond

Robert “Rob” Richmond, an elevator mechanic for more than 35 years and a supervisor at Pride and Service Elevator, an American Elevator Group company with locations in NYC and Crawford, New Jersey, passed away on September 30. Colleague Christopher Todd observed that Richmond was a member of the Pride and Service management team from day 1 and “always entered every situation with respect for the other party and was the first one to own up to an oversight on his part.” Admired by his team, Richmond “would never hesitate to offer a helping hand to get a job done,” Todd said. Described as a lifelong learner who loved to research anything that interested or puzzled him, Richmond is survived by his wife of 20 years, Diana, and daughters, Ravon, Angelina and Ciara. Donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the American Cancer Society in his memory are appreciated.
