TK Elevator has released a new report/white paper titled “The Elevator of Tomorrow: 4 Trends Personalizing the Rider Experience,” which highlights these notable megatrends: making elevators more reliable with cloud-based Product-data Management (PdM) solutions; delivering increased safety and peace of mind with digital elevators that offer enhanced, two-way communication; personalizing the elevator ride; and Software as a Service, or SaaS, and its ability to future-proof and enable more sustainable and intelligent buildings. Many of these trends, such as AI, curated content and connectivity are referenced in TrendWatching’s 2023 trends. PdM solutions allow smart, digitally connected elevators to intuitively and seamlessly integrate with a user’s mobile devices and building systems, in turn improving reliability. Enhanced safety and peace-of-mind comes from digital elevators that allow two-way video, voice and/or text communication. Personalized service is offered through technology that allows dozens of people at a single location to simultaneously view a single digital screen with content that’s unique to them. Finally, SaaS facilitates improved and personalized digital experiences from AI-driven recommendations. Those in the U.S. may download the report here. Those anywhere else in the world may download it here.
