In Memoriam: Paul M. Heinrichs

Heinrichs

Paul M. Heinrichs of Sunrise, Florida, a 53-year veteran of the elevator industry, passed away on February 22. Heinrichs spent the past 17 years working as a Qualified Elevator Inspector (QEI) with Tower Elevator Corp. of Miami. He began his career in 1969 in Albany, New York, with Otis and retired as an elevator constructor in Miami in 2006, when he became a QEI. Heinrichs traveled all over the world working as an adjuster with Otis, and was a brilliant and honorable elevator man who was always willing to help. He will be missed by all who knew him! — submitted by Tower Elevator President Jim Patterson
