Otis Launches Otis ONE in the Middle East

Otis Worldwide Corp. announced on May 16 the introduction of the Otis ONETM Internet of Things (IoT) service platform in the Middle East. It is now available in Bahrain, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar and the U.A.E. A result of more than 30 years of remote-monitoring experience combined with the latest in cloud technology, machine learning and IoT, it provides transparent, real-time monitoring to customers and service professionals and proactively identifies and addresses potential issues to keep elevators and escalators running and — in the event of a shutdown — resume service faster. The Otis ONE solution also powers the eViewTM in-car screen display. During normal operation, eView can share information such as news and building updates with passengers. In the event of a technical breakdown, the screen can turn into an innovative video connection between passengers and Otis experts at the OTISLINE® customer center.
