Trade Publication Showcases Schindler’s Sustainable Fleet Efforts

Schindler is among corporations embracing sustainable fleet management, an effort highlighted by FLEET EUROPE on November 7 ahead of the Fleet Europe Conference on November 22-23 in Lisbon, Portugal. The source observed that fleet and business travel are among the main sources of CO2 emissions for many corporations, prompting companies including Schindler to introduce initiatives like its new Responsible Sourcing Policy. Suppliers that demonstrate a clear commitment to sustainability in their business practices are more likely to be selected by Schindler, Schindler Mobility Manager Luca Mancuso told the source. Further, the Switzerland-headquartered OEM aims to review and update its Mobility Policy by the third quarter of 2024. The company will examine vehicle eligibility and alternative travel options, as well as electrification of essential vehicles.
