On November 13, New York YIMBY revealed fresh renderings of THE 74, a 32-story residential tower designed by Pelli Clarke Pelli with SLCE Architects and developed by Elad Group at 201 East 74th Street on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. The renderings show a seven-story base that reaches just past the roofs of neighboring low-rise buildings and a pleated, white terracotta façade with floor-to-ceiling windows framed by dark mullions. Containing 42 condominiums with prices starting at US$2.9 million, the tower will feature an enclosed terrace on the seventh floor and two outdoor terraces near the top on the western elevation. Amenities will include a catering kitchen, a children’s playroom, a fitness center and a lounge overlooking a private garden. Completion is anticipated in summer 2025. Elad Group President Orly Daniel described THE 74 as “a boutique building that marks a new era of luxury living in Manhattan’s Upper East Side.”
