GM Riva Assumes MD Role at TKE Italy

Riva

Less than eight months after being appointed general manager (GM) of TK Elevator (TKE) Italy, Omar Riva has taken on the additional role of managing director (MD) of TKE Italy. With more than 20 years’ experience in the vertical-transportation industry, Riva joined TKE Italy in 2008 following an acquisition, where he first held the position of commercial manager (2014), then chief operating officer (2018), with responsibilities for both sales and operations. Riva became TKE Italy GM in April before ascending to the top position nationally. Over the past five years, Riva has helped guide TKE Italy through several challenges, including operational complexity brought on by the pandemic, and achieved steady double-digit growth year after year. “I will continue to work for the sustainable development of TKE Italy, an important reality in our company with more than 500 employees,” Riva said. “Together, we are ready to face the challenges of our time, from digitalization to sustainability and accessibility to innovation.”
