Rainfall in Singapore Causes Elevator Issues

A Housing & Development Board (HDB) block in Tampines, Singapore, lost both its lifts after heavy rain November 22, MS News reports. The heavy rain caused the floor traps at the rooftop motor room to clog, which caused water to leak into the elevators. Workers rushed to repair the elevators and managed to get one working by midnight. The second elevator needs additional parts and, at the time of the source’s publication, was expected to be under repair for the next week.
