Days after launching it in Southeast Asia, KONE launched its High-Rise MiniSpaceTM DX elevator in India on December 13. The elevator caters to the trends of building taller and modernizing existing infrastructure. Powered by KONE UltraRope® hoisting technology, the elevator is 80 times lighter than those with traditional steel ropes, three times more durable and capable of reducing energy consumption for a 500-m journey by up to 15%. Effortlessly serving buildings taller than 60 stories, the elevator offers superior handling capacity and shorter wait times. The design includes energy-efficient hoisting motors, LED lighting, standby solutions and sustainable construction materials. It is engineered to optimize space with an ultra-compact machine room. “With advanced solutions like the High-Rise MiniSpace DX elevator and KONE UltraRope technology, we optimize vertical flow in high-rise buildings, ensuring faster, seamless and energy-efficient movement,” KONE Managing Director India & South Asia Amit Gossain said.
