New Elevators and Escalators at Southern India Railway Station

The redevelopment of Begumpet Railway Station in Telangana, in southern India, adds new and updated elevators and escalators, the Financial Express reports. The new additions make the station more accessible to passengers of all age groups and physical abilities, as well as significantly enhance the commuter experience, especially during peak hours. The redevelopment of Begumpet Railway Station is part of a bigger development initiative to modernize railway stations across India. The upgrades aim to make the station safer, more accessible and visually appealing while focusing on both functionality and aesthetics.
