Designed by Hord Coplan Macht, the apartment tower planned in St. Louis’ Ballpark Village is described as “the most downtown skyline-changing part” of phase two.

A 29-story apartment tower is part of St. Louis’ Ballpark Village phase two, a US$220-million project of Major League Baseball’s St. Louis Cardinals and Cordish Cos. of Baltimore, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported. Designed by Hord Coplan Macht, the 310-ft.-tall building would house approximately 300 apartments above a parking garage. It would be joined by low- to mid-rise office and retail buildings, which would start being built in fall 2017. The Cardinals said the project would produce approximately 1,500 construction jobs and 1,000 permanent jobs. It is being made possible by an improved economy and low borrowing costs, Cardinals President Bill DeWitt, III said.
